uo-asda: Copyright Workshop Friday 2/8

Hi all,

Tomorrow, Andre Sirois, a local hip hop DJ, will talk about the
copyright issues surrounding creating derivative works, and borrowing
other people's works when creating your own. It should be an
interesting talk! It is important to know what is allowed and what is
not allowed when using someone else's work. It's also good to know
what steps you can take to ensure your work is used appropriately.

The talk is at our regular meeting time and place. Lawrence room 100,
12:00-1:00.

We hope to see you there!
